Since retreats can be a lot about turning inwards, not having the distraction of other participants in person can support more access to the benefits of the practice.

Are retreats totally silent?

Although there is typically minimal conversing with other participants during retreats, guidance, structure, and support are offered by skilled mindfulness teachers throughout the experience. You will be guided and supported each step of the way.
