Owner Sarah J. Carr, LMFT is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Treatment is individually tailored to include mindfulness, self-compassion, and values-based living. We offer both individual and group therapy and specialize in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Generalized Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Specific Phobias, Panic, and Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (Trichotillomania and Skin Picking).
We offer Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), an eight-week research-backed program that introduces mindfulness in the form of sitting practice, body awareness, and mindful movement. We also offer 30 minute drop-in classes, one-on-one mindfulness coaching and corporate mindfulness workshops. We welcome those new to meditation as well as advanced practitioners.
We provide professional consultation to professionals interested in gaining more expertise in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), mindfulness, and other evidence-based treatments for OCD and anxiety. We also facilitate corporate workshops on mindfulness and trainings on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders.
