Sarah specializes in helping teens and adults navigate challenges that include obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety, phobias, panic, body-focused repetitive behaviors (trichotillomania and skin picking), and tics. Sarah is trained in evidence-based treatments that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Sarah facilitates mindfulness trainings throughout the Bay Area and is particularly interested in sharing mindfulness practices that are easily accessible in daily life.

In addition to her work at mindfulSF, Sarah is a lead therapist at choicetherapy where she provides intensive outpatient services for OCD and anxiety. For more information about choicetherapy’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), please visit www.choicetherapy.net.

Sarah is passionate about supporting people with moving towards their goals by helping them to connect to what is most meaningful in their lives. She enjoys working with people of diverse backgrounds and gender identities. Compassion, humor, and curiosity are foundational components of Sarah’s approach.
